#3: Everything Aussie Festival!

Saturday morning, the 7 of us girls staying in the one house made an American breakfast for our host family. They really enjoyed it and we really enjoyed making it!

After breakfast, we headed to the city of Wollongong. The town of Moss Vale is part of the Diocese of Wollongong (comparable to Diocese of Wichita). The Diocese of Wollongong hosted an Everything Aussie Festival for us, in which most parishes from the diocese set up a booth and shared part of their parish with us. It was neat to visit with so many Catholics! At the end of the day, there was a Mass said with over 5,000 people there! Unfortunately, no pictures from the Mass. But, it was our first time to be around so many pilgrims..we had no idea what was to come in Sydney!

We spotted these rugby players and had to have our picture with them!

That's me..."paddling" in the ocean. It was cold..no swimming for me!

2 good friends that were on the trip with me..Elizabeth and Kate.

Yugi the koala! He was so cute, and I got to pet him! I really wanted to hold him, but I didn't fuss and was content just being close to him.

We met a lot of Nigerians that day. These were actually 3 priests from Nigeria. We talked with them for a long time and they even invited us to visit them in their country...we'll see about that!

I don't know how He does it...just breathtaking.
