#1: Welcome to Moss Vale!

The first week of our pilgrimage was spent in a little town south of Sydney called Moss Vale. We were able to spend a lot of time with the parishioners, had daily Mass, got to see the beauty of Australia, and made many friends.

First things first..when we arrived, we were starved! The parishioners hosted sandwiches, tea, and biscuits (cookies) at the rectory for us. This is the pilgrims and host families gathered in the rectory lawn.

The simple, yet beautiful church in Moss Vale.

Next stop..a monastery just outside of town. It was established by Polish monks. We had Mass here, took a picture for the Catholic Advance, and then the kangaroos decided to put on quite a show for us!

Home Sweet Home!
This was "Sweet Valley"...where I lived, along with 6 other girls for the week.
